Wish I could be happy with this 1 lb loss
after a few months of gains then plateau.
The reason I'm not happy with it is
because I haven't been able to exercise as much.
Maybe I will do a post about chronic pain.
I started physio therapy last week. Hopefully it helps.
Two weeks ago, I had a stomach bug and lost 3 lbs.
but as you can see, I gained a couple back.
My goal of losing another 20 lbs is seemingly impossible.
Some motivation would be nice.

My husband is having the same problem. He was good all month and didn't lose anything. He's very demotivated.
I'm struggling to reach my weight goals too. Here's some ideas that I'm going to try for this next month:
(1)Like my body now. I've had a hard time with this because I've had a stillborn baby and a miscarriage in the last 2 years and I blame my body. So everyday I'm going to repeat the following to myself "My current body is a precious gift and I like my body and accept it for the way it is today. I am going to help it get more healthy to look even better."
(2)Set little stepping stone weight numbers and put those numbers up all over my house so I see them. My 1st weight goal is 157 because my miscarried baby's angel date is 5/7 and then on to 139 because my stillborn baby's angel date is 3/9. I'm hoping those numbers will keep me motivated.
(3) Reward myself for small accomplishments. I'm going to reward myself each week even if I haven't lost weight for small things like maybe not gaining any weight, or sticking to my exercise or eating plan. The reward--my favorite candy bar--that might seem a little 2 sided but I really believe it will keep me motivated.
Anyways just some ideas that I'm going to try myself. Goodluck to both of us!!
Girl, you're preaching to the choir. I've got weight I've never lost after Jane. But I just bought bigger clothes. :)
Hang in there! You're so brave to share it publicly. I've gained 2 pounds since the end of December and I've been regularly working out the last 2 months training for a 5k race. I haven't changed my eating habits though and a few people have suggested my gain is muscle weight. You aren't alone in the battle. ((HUGS))
Personally, I ate my motivation. It was serving no purpose that I could see.
