A Song for Daniel, Stillborn by Jean Felice Eilbert (his mother)
When I held you in my arms that day Born so still, born anyway How was I to know to say goodbye? No one knew just what to do Except tell me I'd get over you As if forgetting makes it all untrue -- a lie
But I remember to remember I can't forget just to forget Your memories are a part of me Connecting me to what comes next.
And even after all this while I think of you, sometimes I smile Memories of my unknown child, fade slow. I've held you in my heart each day Life so short, life anyway Memories are meant to say hello.

Friday Funny: Mosquito Capital of Canada
I live in the "Mosquito Capital of Canada" I fear that someday the mosquitoes will come and carry me away... or at least drain me of every last drop of blood.
Where did you find that picture! LOL Well - at least they fog in your city, we don't fog in the country. Bet we have more mosquitoes than you do! Hope you have a great weekend - mosquito and rain free :)
Making my way through life with an angel on my shoulder and another one by my side. Follow me (and my dog) as I stumble through my new normal after the deaths of my daughter and husband.

Is West Nile really bad? I would be scared of that.

You know what else sucks blood? Vampires!!! You should read this vampire series called Twlight. It is really addictive and fun!!
: )
I will never give up!
The mosquitos are horrid this year! We have many bites over here and we use bug spray all the time!
When we visit my parents in Alberta, we really can't be out after the sun sets. It's really like living with Vampires.
That's funny. Where do you FIND these things?
OMGoodness! That sign is hilarious! Our backyard has felt like that at times. I really dislike those things.
