A Song for Daniel, Stillborn by Jean Felice Eilbert (his mother)
When I held you in my arms that day Born so still, born anyway How was I to know to say goodbye? No one knew just what to do Except tell me I'd get over you As if forgetting makes it all untrue -- a lie
But I remember to remember I can't forget just to forget Your memories are a part of me Connecting me to what comes next.
And even after all this while I think of you, sometimes I smile Memories of my unknown child, fade slow. I've held you in my heart each day Life so short, life anyway Memories are meant to say hello.

Why I Quit Drinking Coke
(...on a display for 591 mL bottles, I hope it's an error!)
It's bloody expensive!!!!
Two weeks+ and counting with exception of one 591 mL on my birthday. This is coming from someone who drank up to six cans a day. Go me!
Way to go! I recently quit my Dr. Pepper addiction. I would limit myself to one 12oz can per day, but still ... cost and those extra calories - it was time to quit. I do let myself "splurge" and enjoy one when we are out to eat on occasion.
Making my way through life with an angel on my shoulder and another one by my side. Follow me (and my dog) as I stumble through my new normal after the deaths of my daughter and husband.

WOOHOO!! I've stopped drinking coke and switched to Canada Dry - less caffeine. Where are you buying your coke? It's always on sale here somewhere.
That is awesome!!!

Good grief!!!
Well, it is probably better for you anyway. Way to go ... I'm sure it was difficult to "detox."
Good for you! I am very impressed! Crazy how expensive that is! I am a coffee addict- but I suspect I will be one for life!
